Classical Pilates is considered to be Pilates practice in its truest form. Joseph Pilates designed a number of ingenious pieces of equipment to work in conjunction with the Reformer and Mat, including the Wunda Chair, Cadillac/Tower Unit, Ladder Barrel and Spine Corrector. These apparatus challenge balance and stability, build strength, correct posture, and open the hips and shoulders. Learn the foundational exercises on these amazing pieces, and feel the full benefits of the Classical Pilates system. Completion of this course will enable participants to enroll in Beg/Level I Trios.

A good neck posture starts from your rib cage. The ribcage plays a significant role in your body movements and posture. Muscles, ligaments, and nerves connect your neck and shoulders to your ribcage. Misalignment of the rib cage is often the cause of shoulder, neck and back pain.
But once the rib cage goes back to where it should be, the head goes back to neutral position, allowing us to open our shoulders and arms can relax.
Like the Yamuna Body Rolling routine, this workshop will stretch your body more efficiently by ironing each muscle from its origin to insertion, with a focus on correcting the alignment of the rib cage.
Building on our popular monthly Yamuna Body Rolling workshops, we are offering specialized workshops from January through December 2024 to hone in on specific issues- from tight shoulders to strained lower back, these workshops will bring your body back into optimum functional health in a very relaxed way, with your muscles becoming more balanced and your body correctly aligned.
